Now we have a XRite Hubble probe that has proven to give very good results, combined with Cinespace tools we are able to provide you accurate preview for VFX and colour grading.
We can also work with different CMS, like Kodak KDM or Autodesk Lustre Color.

Is that the CineTal Cinemage your calibrating? We just received one on loan and waiting for the probe to be delivered. As yet I'm not sure which one it is.

That's a possibility, but we can work on any display device: projectors, monitors, any technology (CRT, LCD, Plasma, DLP, SXRD, etc). Results are depending on device quality, but we have had some successes with most. I also provide training for Cinespace tools if required.

We ended up getting the x-rite i1 display 2. I wanted to get a bit of advice from the cineSpace forum but there doesn't seem to be much action there.
I want to calibrate my Eizo - displaying the Lustre - to match the target device (at the moment it's the cineTal cinemage, which in turn has been calibrated to Rec709). Would the best way to go to be to calibrate the Eizo to Rec709 (if possible) or create a 1D ramp to match the cinemage?
I'm new to the cineSpace software and don't know if these are even the best ways to achieve this.
Would appreciate any help.
Cheers

The way it's done in Cinespace is to match the monitor profile to the target profile. To do so you would generate a profile for the Cinespace using CineProfiler and do the same for the Eizo.
Then in Cinecube Visual you load the 2 profiles and combine them to create a LUT.
Still I wouldn't recommend trying to match 2 displays, especially LCDs because of the viewing angle issue, that will be given to a user at the same time. It's usually better to have only one reference for colour, but it's also a matter of taste.

Thanks Cedric.
Yes I completely agree that only one it's better to have only one monitor for colour reference. The way we worked in DI was to put the LUT in the projector leaving the GUI image raw log. Saves any confusion. However, the way we're set up at the moment means the two monitors are next to each other with client invariably looking at my monitor and preffering that grade. Also video is similar enough non-calibrated for it to be confusing.
Interested though why you wouldn't recommend it because of the viewing angle.
